Objectives
This course is an essential part of the nursing training program as it prepares the student for his role as a care- professional. It implies that the student can provide integrated care, based on an efficient theoretical framework. Within this trajectory, the student can develop his own area of interest.

Final objectives
1. Provide evidence-based and theoretically-underpinned nursing care based on clinical reasoning and an attitude of responsibility, a large degree of initiative and proactivity, in accordance with general and occupational legislation.
2. In both simple and complex and specialized care situations, grant tailored, client-focused and client-driven nursing care, utilising appropriate technology and with due attention to structure, punctuality and accuracy in order to guarantee patient safety.
3. On the basis of theoretical frameworks, international references and experience, develop a personal view of nursing and a constructive critical attitude.
4. Continuously self-reflect on nursing actions, self-analyse learning needs and translate these autonomously into initiatives that enhance professionalism and quality of care.
