• Repetition and expansion of basic grammar.
• Vocabulary acquisition via authentic and context-rich material.

Competence 1: understands familiar words and simple sentences in German. (Listening and reading: A1 +) (DSL2+, AC2, AC4)

• understand the main points in short, clear, simple messages and announcements in German (W & I)

Competence 2: communicate both orally and in writing on familiar topics and activities (spoken production, writing: A1 +) (+ DSL2, AC1, AC2, AC4)

• applies the correct grammatical and lexical forms to convey a brief verbal message in German. (T)
• applies the correct grammatical and lexical forms to convey a brief message written in German. (T)
• independently translates simple sentences and / or Dutch texts into German and vice versa. (T)
