Final objectives

Core competence 1: understands current affairs and work-oriented English texts (written and oral) that mainly exist out of frequent business language structures. (Reading and listening: B1+) (DSL2, AC2, AC4)

Indicators:

  • understands simple argumentations in English business texts. (W&I)
  • easily answers questions in French concerning style and contents of the texts that were read or listened too.

Core competence 2: communicates in a more complex, work related context (production: B1), does a conversation after a short preparation and communicates about work related topics. (Interaction: B1) (DSL2, AC2, AC1, AC7)

Indicators:

  • communicates in English in a simulated work situation. (A&S)
  • takes care of his pronunciation in French. (W&T)

Core competence 3: executes management-supporting tasks concerning internal and external business communication, he also makes of report of current affairs. (DSL2)

Indicators:

  • analyses a communication command and executes it in a simulated work situation. (A&S)
  • reads and listens too several English news items (reading and listening: B1+) (W&I)
  • correctly and smoothly communicates an English news item. (T)
