Final objectives

Core competence 1: understands simple English-written texts about topics that are familiar (socio-economically and professionally) (reading B1). Furthermore, he understands spoken texts when they are pronounced in standard language. (listening: B1) (DSL2, AC2, AC4)


Indicators:

  • understands the most essential points. (W&I)
  • answers questions concerning form and content of the texts that were read and listened to. (T)


Core competence 2: talks about everyday situations and tasks that concern a simple and direct exchange of information about familiar topics and activities. (Production: A2), has a short conversation in English and communicates about simple, work related topics. (DSL2, AC1, AC2, AC7)

Indicators:

  • gives short, fundamental descriptions in English, describes plans, appointments, routine actions and activities present day and in the past. (A&S)
  • communicates a simple, general or work related message proper and smoothly in English. (T)
  • takes care of the pronounciation in English. (W&T)


Core competence 3: writes small summaries (writing: B1) after hearing or reading given texts. (writing: A2) (DSL2, AC1, AC2, AC4)

  • uses a series of expressions and sentences to describe the most essential points in an easy way.

Diploma contract - Credit contract
  • First exam session:
    • non period bound evaluation: 30%
    • period bound evaluation: 70% written exam

    • 30 oral exam
