Final objectives

The student is able to critically analyze complex IT-requirements and questions, present them in a structured way and give adequate advice on a solution tailored to the organisation and its impact
The student is able to autonomously and systematically tackle and coordinate a complex IT-project during which he/she needs to design, execute and critically follow-up an appropriate project plan
The student is able to cooperate within an intradisciplinary or interdisciplinary team and take up (co-)responsibility in order to obtain qualitative and collective results

Objectives

Is able to determine the reporting needs of an organization based on a business process and draw up reports from there

Is able to formulate and convey advice in a professional manner adapted to the target audience

Is able to draw up a qualitative and correct advice

Is able to autonomously set up a customer journey in a complex context

Is able to define the 'to be' situation from 'as is' and the customer's demand

Is able to work autonomously according to the principles of agile strategy within the area of expertise (Scrum, KanBan) in a complex ICT project

- Analysis of the business model for the assignment using an Osterwalder Business canvas
- Recording functional and non-functional requirements
- Drafting/adjusting analysis based on customer Journey's, story map, user stories
- Analysis of key processes

- Design of an integrated application based on Drupal (Webshop/CMS) and/or SAP and/or BI (at least 2 technologies)

Study guidance

The lecturers follow the progress of the "work in process" through biweekly reviews. Students are expected to demonstrate sufficient ownership to complete the assignments successfully. The students are given the opportunity to consult the teacher on their own initiative for a specific substantive problem (consultation).

Prerequisites

This course requires a basic knowledge of an agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban,…). You can work with a version control system (git).

This course ‘Project E-Business’ can only be selected in combination with ‘Business Processes Advanced’, ‘ERP System Configuration’ and ‘Content Management Systems’.
