Final objectives

The student is able to autonomously and systematically tackle and coordinate a complex IT-project during which he/she needs to design, execute and critically follow-up an appropriate project plan
The student is able to critically analyze complex IT-requirements and questions, present them in a structured way and give adequate advice on a solution tailored to the organisation and its impact
The student is able to design, construct, document and test quality IT-solutions efficiently and autonomously, taking into account new developments and application areas
The student is able to cooperate within an intradisciplinary or interdisciplinary team and take up (co-)responsibility in order to obtain qualitative and collective results

Objectives

Is able to develop transactions with screen dialog in an existing ERP environment

Is able to develop a basic ERP service

Is able to develop a front-end application based on existing or self-created tables



Is able to work according to the principles of agile strategy within the area of expertise (Scrum, KanBan) in an ICT project

Is able to prepare a test plan within the area of expertise for a simple project

Is able to use a version control tool to work efficiently in a team



Is able to make a short medium term plan for a simple assignment under the supervision of the teacher

Is able to work independently according to medium-term planning and agreements, can prepare spontaneously for consultation, can organize a retrospective and point out the pros and cons of the organization

Is able to act spontaneously professionally in any situation towards fellow students, educators and clients

Is able to independently monitor the quality of his / her own work and adapts the work spontaneously to the requirements of the customer

Is able to spontaneously and actively look for a creative solution

Prerequisites

This course requires a basic knowledge of an agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban,…).
You can work with a version control system (git).

This course ‘Business Software Project’ can only be taken in combination with ‘Software Development in ERP I‘ and ‘Software Development in ERP II’.
