Objectives
Targeting the productive and receptive language skills in function of trade communication, medical and economic topicality, communication with managers, medical reports, communication with external stakeholders in English (receptive at CEFR level C1, productive at CEFR B2).
Applying principles of efficient conferencing in English as a connector in a healthcare organization.
Providing communication around meetings in English as a connector in a healthcare organization.
Drawing up a business-related report in English as an ambassador of the health care organization.
Preparing a press release, press folder and newsletter in English as an ambassador of a healthcare organisation.
Integrating medical and economic current affairs into professional oral communication in English.
Drawing up medical reports (hospitalisation, intervention, research,...) in English in a care organisation without errors and scientifically correct under the supervision of one or more doctors, whether or not by means of speech recognition.
Reviewing internal English documents as a connector in the healthcare organisation.
Efficiently communicating medical and non-medical information about the user to the care team in English.
Contents
In function of trade communication, medical and economic topicality, communication with managers, medical reports, communication with external stakeholders:
skills: reading, listening, speaking, writing, interaction in a business and professional context
with attention to: grammar, vocabulary, style, spelling
Meeting techniques
Inviting, taking minutes, reporting
Business related report
including financial reporting, annual report
Press release, press folder and newsletter
Keeping an eye on the world and using current medical and economic developments in professional conversations
Medical reports
Speech recognition, medical dictates
Reviewing (e.g. documents drawn up by a nurse, etc.)
With attention for digital revision
Communication with care providers about users.

Final objectives
As an ambassador of the health care organization, and a connector in the health care organization, communicate in a service-oriented and medically correct manner in an intercultural, international and multidisciplinary context in Dutch, French and English with internal and external stakeholders with various profiles.
