Objectives

Is able to explain the basic insights of marketing and e-marketing
Is able to explain the project steps and structure of e-marketing actions
Is ableto explain the relations and interactions between the different marketing channels and give examples.
Is able to work with Google analytics, Google Adwords, Google You Tube marketing and refer to other analytics.
Is able to set-up an e-mail campaign.
Is able to make optimal use of social media for e-marketing, with or without Google.
Is able set up a mobile marketing campaign.
Is able to explain the basics of on-line marketing and illustrate them with examples.
Is able to get better e-marketing results by SEO and SEA.
Is able to be creative with digital marketing.
Is able manage a digital marketing campaign for an organisation, including set-up, follow-up, adjustment by means of Google Analytics and the best choice of Adwords and other media.

Prerequisites

No other study courses required to follow this course. Have a basic understanding of English (B1).

Final objectives

TI105 The student can analyse, structure, project the complex ICT requirements and “would like’s” and can advise adequately taking into account the size and capabilities of the organisation.

Organisation of education

Extra information: There are 5 non-compulsory but recommended contact moments foreseen after 18pm on a workweek-evening in Gent. These sessions are prepared by Belgian and international Google experts. Extra information will be given in the DMA.
