Objectives

Is able to recognize and explain the structure and operation of the different types of software agents.
Is able to apply different search algorithms on discrete, static and single agent environments.
Is able to determine the minimax value of a state in a two person zero sum game using the minimax algorithm and/or alpha-beta pruning.
Is able to apply local and heuristic search methods without relying on specialized software.
Is able to distinguish between the most important types of machine learning.
Is able to apply a method for unsupervised learning in order to solve a clustering problem without relying on specialized software.
Is able to apply a method for solving a supervised learning problem without relying on specialized software
