Objectives

Intensive training on enhancing written, oral and reading skills in English.

Contents

Study and discussion of topical and/or business-oriented documents (texts, audiovisual sources,...) as a basis for practice of written and oral communication in English.

Due focus on language register and formal conventions for written and spoken communication.

Final objectives

1. Students understand business and economy-related information (reading and listening, level B2)

Indicators:

  • Students understand arguments presented in English texts
  • Students are able to recapitulate this information autonomously

2. Students communicate quickly and correctly in English at a level suitable to a young professional, both in life and in business environments (spoken interaction, spoken production, writing, level B2)

Indicators:

  • Students are familiar with complex grammatical structures and apply them correctly while executing management assistant tasks
  • Students are able to use business and economy-related vocabulary while executing management assistant tasks
