Objectives

  • Use the productive and receptive language skills purposefully in the context of a care organisation in Dutch at the CEFR C1 level in the communication with external stakeholders.

  • Telephone fluently, convincingly and professionally in Dutch.

Contents

  • In function of using medical terminology, telephoning, communicating in a health organisation en communicating with other stakeholders (laboratories, national health services, farmacies, insurances, rehabilitation centres...) with knowledge of the care organisation, the function and service with knowledge of the own role within the organisation
    • Language skills: reading, listening, speaking, writing, interaction in a context of care and a professional context
    • With attention for: grammar, vocabulary, style, spelling

Final objectives

As an ambassador of the health care organization, and a connector in the health care organization, communicate in a service-oriented and medically correct manner in an intercultural, international and multidisciplinary context in Dutch, French and English with internal and external stakeholders with various profiles. (Dutch: CEFR level C2 / English: receptive skills CEFR level C1, productive skills level B2 / French: receptive skills CEFR level C1, productive skills level B2)
Efficiently and effectively plan and organize with respect for the values and standards of the health care organization, professional ethics within the health care sector and the social standards
